Red Blood Python

The Red Blood Python earned its name through its rich blood red colouration, although not all specimens are blood red in colour, often exhibiting a brown or pink hue. Red Blood Pythons are widespread throughout most of the lower elevations of Peninsular (Western) Malaysia, South-Western Thailand, Eastern Sumatra, Bangka Island and other islands in the Straits of Malacca, including the Lingga islands, Riau, and Pinang. The most commonly kept in captivity are of Sumatran and Malaysian background. I am working with several animals of Bangka, Sumatran and Malaysian descent. Much like my Borneo's, I am working to produce the highest quality animals with soft personalities. I am also working toward producing the brightest and most visually pleasing Reds with great contrast available.
